The internationally recognized national competition of the International Economics Olympiad (IEO) in Taiwan is coming soon in 2024! The Taiwanese Economics Olympiad (TEO, aka “ EcOlympiad Taiwan ”) is organized for high school students interested in economics, finance, and business – interdisciplinary knowledge and creative problem-solving skills are musts in the Olympiad.
Sign up for the TEO to enter the first arena of economics before you get a ticket to the international round in July 2024.
The TEO has a three-round selection: Preliminary, Selection and Training Camp (STC), and Final.
Critical dates in 2024
October 23 – November 27, 2023: Online registration
December 16, 2023: National Preliminary
January 10, 2024: Announcement of Reserve National Team Members
January 29 – February 4, 2024: Selection and Training Camp
February 16, 2024: Announcement of Finalists
March 2, 2024: National Final (selection of Taiwanese contestants in the IEO 2024) and awards ceremony
May–July, 2024: Taiwanese contestant training for the IEO 2024
