I. Our Physics Department has been commissioned by the Ministry of Education to organize a national team to participate in the 25th Asia Pacific Physics Olympiad and the 55th International Physics Olympiad in 2025. The registration brochure for the preliminary examination is attached.

II. The exam is scheduled for Saturday, November 2, 2024, from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM.

III. The registration period is from October 1, 2024, to October 14, 2024.

IV. There are 12 examination centers nationwide. Candidates may choose any examination center, but the choice must be made during the registration period and cannot be changed after the deadline.

V. Candidates must register through their respective schools. For those not enrolled in a school-based experimental education program, registration should be handled by the competent authority of the relevant municipality or county (city). Individual student registrations are not accepted.

VII. Candidates can check their exam numbers and exam instructions on the website starting from October 18, 2024. Please also pay attention to notifications sent to your email.

VIII. Approximately 400 candidates will be selected for the preliminary examination, and the gender ratio shall not be less than 10% for either gender. If the gender ratio for either gender falls below 10%, additional candidates will be selected.
