Election for Parent Representative in the Principal Selection Process

Dear Parents,

The current term of our school principal will conclude in July 2025. To proceed with the selection process for the principal's reappointment, we must elect a Parent Representative for the Principal Selection Committee. Your vote is essential.

Details:

According to Article 2, Paragraph 4 of the "Regulations for the Selection, Appointment, and Performance Evaluation of Senior High School Principals," the Parent Representative must be elected by the class parent representatives. At least one-fourth of all class parent representatives must participate in the election. We encourage all parent representatives to cast their votes.

This election aims to select one Parent Representative and one Alternate Representative. The elected Parent Representative must attend the Principal Selection Briefing Session on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at 2:00 PM at National Caotun Commercial and Industrial Vocational Senior High School.

Election Process: Each class parent representative is entitled to one vote. The candidate with the highest number of votes will be elected as the Parent Representative for the Principal Selection Committee, while the runner-up will serve as the Alternate Representative. In the event of a tie, the winner will be determined by a draw.

Voting Method:

Each ballot allows voting for only one candidate and will be conducted anonymously.

Ballots without the official seal of the Parent Association or those that do not meet the election guidelines will be considered invalid.

Completed ballots should be submitted to the IBST Office or personally delivered to the General Affairs Office before 12:00 PM on Monday, March 3, 2025.

Ballot counting will take place at 3:00 PM on March 3, 2025, in the second-floor conference room.

Ballots for the election will be distributed in sealed envelopes today, and sent home with the children of this year’s class parent representatives. As this election plays a crucial role in the principal selection process, we strongly encourage you to participate and cast your important vote.
