2025 FRC6998 Summer Freshman Training Camp – Registration Now Open!

Purpose:

1. To introduce new students to the world of FRC Robotics competitions and help them explore their interests.
2. To allow students to experience the fun of scientific inquiry and hands-on projects while enhancing their problem-solving skills.
3. To build a foundation in mechanical assembly and programming through practical experience, helping students become more familiar with competition-related skills and knowledge.
4. To prepare for the September recruitment of new members for FRC6998, aiming to compete in the 2026 FRC World Championship.

Eligibility:
All incoming Grade 10 students of Nanke High School and Bilingual Division students Grade 9 and above with skills or interest in programming, mechanical design, business management, art design, marketing, public relations, multimedia, or team operations are welcome to join.

Registration Details:

1. Registration period: From now until 11:00 PM, July 13, 2025 (Sunday). The accepted participant list will be announced by 12:00 PM, July 14, 2025 (Monday) on the FRC6998 Facebook group.

2. Registration method: Online registration only. Please scan the QR Code to sign up.

3. Number of participants: A maximum of 8 students per team, 3 teams total (24 students), with 6 additional students on the waitlist. If registrations exceed available spots, participants will be selected by lottery.
If an accepted student cannot participate, they must call the Academic Affairs Office to forfeit their spot by 5:00 PM on the announcement day (Extension: 8011). Waitlisted students will be notified by phone.

Fees:
Free of charge (includes accommodation, lunch, and materials).

Schedule:
July 28, 2025 (Monday) to August 1, 2025 (Friday), daily from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
