Announcement: 2026 European Girls’ Mathematical Olympiad (EGMO) Taiwan Preliminary Exam
Taiwan will participate in the 2026 European Girls’ Mathematical Olympiad (EGMO), an international mathematics competition for female students. To select representatives, the EGMO Preliminary Examination will be held on September 20, 2025 (Saturday).
Eligibility: Female students under 20 (as of April 1, 2026), holding ROC nationality, enrolled in secondary school or below in Taiwan. Registration requires school or education authority recommendation.
Format: 16 multiple-choice questions, covering algebra, number theory, geometry, and combinatorics.
Selection: About 30 top students will be admitted to the Taiwan Girls’ Mathematical Olympiad Training Camp.
Registration Deadline: September 10, 2025 (12:00 noon).
