I. Authority
This program is implemented in accordance with the government’s "Public Diplomacy" policy and the Ministry of Education’s "Mid-term Development Plan for International Education in Primary and Secondary Schools."
II. Objectives
The program aims to enhance the communication skills of future international talents, strengthen students' teamwork, and broaden their global perspectives. By fostering peer exchange, students will deepen their inquiry skills and cultural understanding. Our ultimate goal is to promote international cooperation and achieve the vision of "Connecting with the World, Linking Globally."

IV. Eligibility & Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:

Current Students: * 1st and 2nd-year Senior High School students (including those in non-school-based experimental education).

1st to 3rd-year Junior College students.

Language Proficiency: Applicants must provide valid proof of English proficiency at the CEFR B1 level or higher.

Ineligibility: The following individuals are not eligible to apply:

International students studying in Taiwan.
-
Students who participated in this program in 2024 or 2025 and were selected for the overseas study trip.

V. Program Format
The camp will be held in two regions. Each regional session will follow a 5-day, 4-night format.
VIII. Registration Guidelines
1. Registration Period & Method
-
Dates: From March 16, 2026, to April 30, 2026.
-
Method: Online registration only. (The registration URL will be announced on the respective regional host schools' websites.)
2. Application Procedures
-
Basic Steps: Fill out your information in the online system, print the application form, sign it, and upload the scanned copy back to the system.

Letters of Recommendation (Optional): If you have a school recommendation letter (see Attachment 1-1 & 1-2), please upload a signed and scanned copy. This serves as supplementary reference only.

Experimental Education Students: Students without formal school enrollment must upload their Student Status Certificate issued by the local government alongside their application.
3. Required Documents & Materials Please prepare and upload the following:

English Proficiency: Proof of CEFR B1 level or higher.
-
Chinese Autobiography: Max 1,200 words (including personal introduction, specialties, and personality traits).
-
Extracurricular Experience: Descriptions and supporting documents of international exchange or diverse achievements (on or off-campus).

Self-Introduction Video:

Length: 2–3 minutes.
-
Language: English.
-
Content: Motivation, personal strengths, and expectations for the camp (Presentation slides are allowed).

Requirement: The applicant must appear on camera for the entire duration. The face must not be covered by masks or other objects. Failure to comply will result in disqualification.

4. Important Notices

Deadline: Applications not submitted within the registration period will be considered incomplete.
-
Corrections: If documents are missing or need correction, you must complete them within 5 working days of receiving notice from the host school. Late submissions will not be accepted.
5. Selection & Admission
-
Quota: A maximum of 84 students will be admitted per region.
-
School Limit: If more than 84 students apply in a region, a maximum of 5 students per school will be admitted in principle.
-
Regional Rules: Applicants should register based on their school's location. Cross-region applicants will be considered only after local applicants if the quota is exceeded.

Overseas Taiwan Schools: Please register based on your correspondence address in Taiwan.

Quota Adjustment: If a region is under-enrolled, the organizers may reallocate the remaining spots to other regions.
IX. Selection Process

Written Review | 40%
- Chinese Autobiography (15%): Introduction, specialties, and traits.
- International/Diverse Experience (25%): On/off-campus achievements.
Video Review | 60%
- English Self-Introduction: Motivation, personal strengths, and expectations. |
- Video Submission Requirements

Format: MP4 or MOV.
Length: 2–3 minutes.
Penalties: For every 30 seconds exceeding the 3-minute limit, 0.5 points will be deducted from the total score.
Disqualification: Applicants must appear on camera for the entire duration; faces must not be covered by masks or other objects. -
Visibility: Ensure high audio and video quality.

Link Settings: Upload to Google Drive and set the access permission to "Anyone with the link can view." Paste the link into the registration system.

3. Scoring & Tie-breaking

Calculation: Scores are calculated to the second decimal place (rounded from the third).
-
Tie-breaking: If total scores are equal, the rank will be determined by the score in "Video Review" first, followed by "Written Review."
4. Results Announcement & Waitlist

Announcement: The admission list will be posted on the host schools' websites by June 10, 2026.

Withdrawal: Admitted students who cannot attend must submit a "Waiver of Admission Form" (Attachment 3) via email within one week of the announcement.

Waitlist: Vacancies will be filled by waitlisted candidates in order of their ranking.
